LG newest member of the “Shine” series is the KE500 model, an elegant and compact slider. If design is the interest point and functionality comes second, you could consider this Shine that comes at half-price.
Tech-talks
Unfortunately, positioning the phone in a lower market segment brings a bundle of compromises: plastic elements, although the screen diagonal measures 2 Inches the resolution is rather small (176×220 pixels), the flash is almost useless, low battery autonomy, EDGE connectivity but no email client.
If the below list has not distracted you, for a mobile phone in the $150 price range, before taxes and subsidies, KE500 benefits of a nice design and also of a long list of features (2 megapixels camera, bluetooth, microSD card, mp3/mp4 player, Java support, radio FM, 3.5mm headset adapter in the box).
